DiveCamera ("the app") is an underwater camera app provided by the independent developer taetae98 ("the developer"). This page explains what information the app handles and how.
The app has no accounts and sends no personal data to the developer's servers. The following is processed only on your device.
| Information | Purpose | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Camera and microphone | Taking photos and videos, recording video audio | Captures are saved only to your device's gallery (Android), Photos library or the app folder (iOS). |
| Location (optional) | Writing the capture location into photo and video metadata | Written only inside the captured files. You can shoot without granting it. |
| Settings | Photo format, housings you created, coins earned by watching ads | Stored only in the app's settings file on your device. |
The app shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob. An ad appears only when you choose "Watch ad" to earn coins. To serve ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
How Google handles this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
The app uses no other analytics or tracking SDKs.
In regions where privacy regulations apply, the app shows a consent dialog through Google User Messaging Platform before showing ads. You can use every feature of the app even if you decline. Ads may still appear, but they are limited ads, not personalized ones. You can change your choice at any time in "More › Privacy settings".
Captures and settings stored on your device are removed when you delete the files or uninstall the app. Retention of data collected by the ads SDK follows Google's policies.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the age defined by local law) and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.
